Bio | Kazzie Cazort, BA With over a decade of experience in simulation-based education and SP methodology, I bring a deep commitment to advancing learner engagement through realistic role-play, empathetic feedback, and innovative training. At OHSU, I developed and implemented the Reflective Feedback Technique (RFT)—a paradigm-shifting approach that enhances learner self-assessment and clinical communication skills. I’m also the creator of the RIVERS feedback technique and the CLEAR feedback rubric, both of which are designed to improve feedback clarity, structure, and learner impact. My work includes training and mentoring SPs, developing performance-based assessments, and delivering national presentations on cutting-edge feedback strategies. I’m ASPE-certified in SP Best Practices and currently pursuing CHSE certification to further support excellence in simulation education. |
