    Hello,

Does Healthy Simulation offer a pathway for simulation lab program approval or recognition as aligning with best practices for simulation design and delivery?

Now that we have settled back into the new year after IMSH, what are some key takeaways you gained if you attended?

    Mine include:

    • Collaboration & Connections continue to drive the simulation field,

    • AI needs to be deployed ethically and transparently, especially if used for learner practice and assessment

    • There is never enough time to see…

  • Happy New Year everyone! What is a simulation goal you are hoping to complete this year? Mine is to revise all of my sims to align with AACN Essentials for accreditation purposes. I’d love to hear what everyone else has planned for the year.

    • One simulation goal of mine is to create a pharmacology SAFMEDS deck for Paramedic students, linking the weekly deck to a simulation scenario.

      • @Carrie oh I love that idea! Have them ID meds, calculate safe doses for the peds patients, and then tie in with the scenario. Great idea :)

      Happy New Year Simulation Champions!!

As 2025 closes and 2026 starts, our wins often go uncelebrated, as we push through our careers. Sharing moments of success helps build connections across our global community.

I am celebrating completing 8 healthcare simulation-related courses, one more step toward completing my PhD! What is one…

      Hello everyone,

I’m excited to announce that GPT EMS, the low-cost, high-fidelity patient simulation platform, is now in beta release!

This platform is designed to make realistic, conversation-based EMS training more accessible—especially for small and rural departments with limited budgets. Using AI, providers can interact naturally with a…

I recently came across this free screen-based ventilatory practice for students. https://sim.rtmaven.com/

What other ventilatory management applications others use when teaching healthcare professionals, such as paramedics, respiratory therapists, anesthesiologists, and nurse anesthetists?

      Hello everyone,

I’m currently developing a low-cost, high-fidelity EMS patient simulation platform designed to make realistic scenario-based training more accessible for small and rural departments that may not have the budget for high-end manikins.

The system uses AI to allow providers to interact conversationally with a simulated patient. The…

        • Thanks for sharing Tyler! There are many rural areas that struggle with internet access and bandwidth. Will the application be available offline?

          • @Carrie Hello Carrie, Thanks for your question! At this current time there will be no offline version due to its dependance on using a large language model. Current user grade technology is not capable of running the massive neural network needed to power GPTEMS.
