Many Simulation Operations teams rely on a single workflow improvement that dramatically boosts efficiency. A recent example I heard about included a color-coded restocking system that reduced delays during high-fidelity manikin simulation sessions.
What is one workflow improvement that transformed your Simulation Center this year? -
Did you know as of last year, your center can be accredited by the Association of Standardized Patients AND the Society for Simulation in Healthcare & the Association?
I am curious if anyone has completed both of them?

Hello,
Has anyone made a bot to help study for the SSIH Certification? If so would your be willing to share link, or prompts you used to create the bot? Also share your success rate? Thank you for considering.
-
@Polly01 What a great idea! I have not heard of anyone creating a bot for this specific item. Although you may get some hallucinations, it would be interesting to persona prompt, feed the roadmaps into the LLM, and start a conversation for learning and see if it is helpful in learning the requirements.

Hello, Looking for vendor information on synthetic interactive avatars such as sim converse. Does anyone have a list of vendors with the pro/con of each?
-
Hey Polly, our vendor directory provides the opportunity to look at reviews of AI virtual patient training tools like SimConverse (https://staging.healthysimulation.com/vendors/simconverse). No reviews just yet for that company but certainly using our search tool can help you find various vendors and any recent…

Hi All,
I am a Ph.D. student in the college of Design at the University of Minnesota. Hello, is anyone using the NCSBN Clinical Judgement Model as a de-briefing model? Our students are struggling with these concepts on the NCLEX, so we are thinking about switching our de-briefing model, but this model is relatively new.

This is interesting for me to read more about. I would love to hear more from anyone who has this part of their debriefing model. I started in this Simulation Coordinator position July this year and have tried to do some CEs on debriefing to help me improve my skills with debriefing. We set our policies up around the NLN template for…

I unofficially used it in a previous position during debrief. I do think it helps students to pull things together. I have also used it during one on one tutoring sessions to help students develop some clinical judgement. If you don’t want to fully transition to a new model you could always end with having them fill it out as part of the post…
