Carrie Gigray is a dedicated healthcare simulationist with a strong foundation in emergency medical services (EMS) critical care and simulation-based training. She holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Simulation and a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Quality & Safety from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dual-certified as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS). Carrie combines her operational expertise and instructional skills to deliver impactful high-quality simulation education. With over 15 years of experience as a clinical educator and simulation developer, Carrie has a talent for crafting innovative and responsive simulation-based healthcare education. She excels in interprofessional education curriculum alignment and professional development, all aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and promoting collaboration among healthcare professionals. Carrie has shared her expertise through national and international presentations on healthcare simulation, professional development, cost-effective solutions and equity-centered educational practices. As an active member of SSH, INACSL, SimGHOSTS, and NAEMSE she plays a vital role in advancing simulation education globally and is deeply committed to equipping healthcare professionals to tackle real-world challenges.

Dr. Gore has experience in educating future nurses in the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Dr. Gore has a PhD in Adult Education a DNP as a family nurse practitioner and a certificate in Simulation Education. Dr. Gore is an innovative compassionate educator and an expert in the field of healthcare simulation. In 2007 Teresa started her journey in healthcare simulation. She is involved in INACSL and SSH. She is a Past-President of INACSL and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator Advanced (CHSE-A). In 2018 she was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN). In 2021she was inducted as a Fellow in the Society of Simulation in Healthcare Academy (FSSH) and selected as a Visionary Leader University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing Alumni. During her career Dr. Gore has led in the development and integration of simulation into all undergraduate clinical courses and started an OSCE program for APRN students. Her research interests and scholarly work focus on simulation online course development and faculty development. She has numerous invited presentations nationally and internationally on simulation topics.

Matthew Charnetski is dedicated to advancing health professions education through collaborative, culturally responsive hands-on learning. He serves as the Director of Simulation-Based Education and Research & Interprofessional Continuing Education at Dartmouth Health where he works with colleagues across disciplines to integrate simulation into education and training programs. He is also the Director of Simulation and Experiential Education for Geisel School of Medicine and acts as adjunct faculty for Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions Masters in Health Professions Education. Matthew’s career has taken him to a variety of settings around the world—including North America Central Asia Africa and Antarctica—shaping his interest in cultural adaptation and global health education. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Professions Education at Maastricht University with a focus on how simulation curricula can be thoughtfully adapted across different cultural and healthcare contexts. Active in professional organizations such as the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) INACSL and SimGHOSTS. Matthew contributes to peer collaboration accreditation efforts and faculty development. He is passionate about supporting teams and learners as they explore the potential of simulation to improve care and communication. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the SSH and the 2026 Incoming President.
