Abstract:
The Simulation Information Management System (SIMS) is a web-based platform that will allow healthcare simulation programs to quickly manage scheduling, resources, staff, faculty, and students. The SIMS 3.0 system has been developed over the past 30 years at UPMCโs WISER center, a global leader in medical simulation program development, with input from dozens of centers from around the world. The SIMS 3.0 simulation management tool is an easy to use and flexible system that can simplify scheduling, emails, and reporting, allowing clinical simulation program administrators and team members to focus on education, not tedious administration.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the capabilities of SIMS 3.0.
- Understand how SIMS may be applicable for managing healthcare simulation programs.
- Consider the benefits of utilizing one medical simulation program management system to organize faculty, learners, exams, resources, and staff.
