Dr. Gore has experience in educating future nurses in the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Dr. Gore has a PhD in Adult Education, a DNP as a family nurse practitioner, and a certificate in Simulation Education. Dr. Gore is an innovative, compassionate educator and an expert in the field of healthcare simulation. In 2007, Teresa started her journey in healthcare simulation. She is involved in INACSL and SSH. She is a Past-President of INACSL and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator Advanced (CHSE-A). In 2018, she was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN). In 2021, she was inducted as a Fellow in the Society of Simulation in Healthcare Academy (FSSH) and selected as a Visionary Leader University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing Alumni. During her career, Dr. Gore has led in the development and integration of simulation into all undergraduate clinical courses and started an OSCE program for APRN students. Her research interests and scholarly work focus on simulation, online course development and faculty development. She has numerous invited presentations nationally and internationally on simulation topics.

Carrie Gigray is a dedicated healthcare simulationist with a strong foundation in emergency medical services (EMS) critical care and education and simulation-based training. She holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Simulation and a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Quality & Safety from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dual-certified as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS). Carrie combines her operational expertise and instructional skills to deliver impactful high-quality simulation education. With over 15 years of experience as a clinical educator and simulation developer Carrie has a talent for crafting innovative and responsive simulation-based healthcare education. She excels in interprofessional education curriculum alignment and professional development all aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and promoting collaboration among healthcare professionals. Carrie has shared her expertise through national and international presentations on healthcare simulation professional development cost-effective solutions and equity-centered educational practices. As an active member of SSH, INACSL, SimGHOSTS, and NAEMSE, she plays a vital role in advancing simulation education globally. Driven by a passion for delivering impactful education. Carrie is deeply committed to equipping healthcare professionals to tackle real-world challenges.

Matthew Charnetski is the Director of Simulation-Based Education and Research at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Matthew is also a term lecturer in the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions Masters in Health Professions Education Program in the Simulation Operations Track. Matthew’s simulation career has been largely academically focused primarily in medical education prior to arriving at DHMC in 2019. Matthew is involved extensively with The Society for Simulation in Healthcare and The International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning. Matthew has served on the SSH Board of Directors and in leadership roles within the organization. He has participated in the Research Summit on Distance Education, the Global Consensus Statement on Simulation, and the Joint Position Statement on Simulation-Based Education in EMS Education. He has contributed to the INACSL Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice and served as the lead on Operations and a member of other standards committees.
